Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of power delivery projects. You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize service and financial performance.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, you will lead project teams, mentor other project managers, and collaborate with clients to define objectives, negotiate changes, and drive successful project outcomes across transmission, substation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering (preferred but not required).
• PE license (preferred but not required).
• PMP certification (preferred but not required).
• Minimum 10 years in Power Delivery with at least 5 years in project management.
• Strong understanding of financial management.
• Experience in managing large multi-discipline programs and multiple projects.
• Thorough understanding of transmission, substation, and distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of medium-large power delivery projects.
• Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, and contracts.
• Define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, manage staffing and vendor lists.
• Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Mentor other Project Managers and conduct portfolio/project reviews.
• Identify and manage project risk and change orders.
