Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Manager in our Program Management department to lead large electric transmission, distribution and substation projects from initiation through close-out, delivering on scope, schedule and budget.

You will guide cross-functional teams, manage risk, communicate with stakeholders, and drive results with strong leadership, planning and problem-solving in a dynamic utility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities.
• Clear and concise status updates and reports.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management leadership for large and complex electric substation projects.
• Lead projects through all internal and external processes and navigate the project life cycle.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and cost; drive key project decisions.
• Coach, facilitate, motivate, and negotiate with project teams.
• Develop, update, and manage the project plan across the project life cycle.
• Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders.
