Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and management of a portfolio of power delivery EPC projects in the New Jersey area. You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, procurement, and risk to maximize client satisfaction and financial performance.

The role involves leading multi-discipline teams, supporting business development, negotiating changes, and mentoring other project managers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Power Delivery with 5+ years in project management.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Experience in large multi-discipline programs and multi-office projects.
• Thorough understanding of power delivery projects (transmission, substation, distribution).
• Strong relationship development and management.
• Must reside in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of utility transmission line projects.
• Support business development through scoping, fee development, proposals, interviews, and contract development.
• Define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, allocate resources, and track progress.
• Meet with clients to resolve issues and secure approvals at project milestones.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships to support business development.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate project engagements across teams.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of project engagements including clients and project teams.
• Achieve project objectives in terms of quality, scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Analyze project performance and resource utilization; identify out-of-scope work and manage changes.
• Identify and manage project risks from proposal through completion; mentor other PMs and lead reviews.
