Supabase is seeking a Senior Postgres Engineer to join our Postgres Team and help maintain and expand the stability of our hosted Postgres offering. You will work with customers, partners, product, and engineering to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performance Postgres foundation.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals including planner, executor, MVCC, and storage.
• Proven experience building PostgreSQL extensions in C and Rust.
• Experience debugging production issues in managed PostgreSQL environments and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain PostgreSQL extensions with deep internal knowledge.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in hosted PostgreSQL deployments and optimize bottlenecks.
• Own idempotent deployment pipelines across thousands of instances.
