Job summary

Supabase is seeking Support Engineers to provide world-class developer support for users of our Postgres-based platform. The role is fully remote and globally distributed, focusing on rapid, effective help across billing, optimization, and implementation topics.

You will triage cases, direct users to documentation and code examples, and collaborate with product and growth teams to improve support tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) with ability to craft complex queries.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Skilled in using Linux/Unix and the command line.
• Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Bonus: familiarity with React, Vue, Svelte and Node.js.
• A Computer Science degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to support cases across topics including billing, pre-sales, optimization, or implementation questions.
• Triage support cases by directing users to solutions, code samples, or escalating to relevant teams.
• Monitor multiple feedback channels (GitHub Issues & Discussions).
• Identify opportunities to improve internal tooling for support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases and improve test coverage if you have testing experience.
