Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Portfolio Risk and Strategy Analyst to partner with assigned Line of Business and RCA teams to establish and oversee risk management frameworks.

The role involves leading testing strategies, translating results into actionable improvements, and working with Finance and business lines on forecasting and reporting. AI capabilities will be explored to enhance efficiency and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than eight years of applicable experience.
• Experience with Champion/Challenger testing within Lending Services, including Consumer, Mortgage, Commercial, Collections, Recovery, Repossession, and/or Loss Mitigation.
• Proficiency in portfolio and program analytics, with ability to analyze performance, identify trends, assess risk, and uncover opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Champion/Challenger testing across Lending Services business lines.
• Translate test results into actionable strategy enhancements, implementation recommendations, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Analyze and monitor portfolio and program performance across Lending Services, including Investor scorecard performance.
• Support collections goal setting, delinquency forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting.
• Explore and apply AI capabilities in analysis, testing, and reporting to improve efficiency and insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology) to support strategy implementation and forecasting.
• Present recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
