Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Portfolio Risk and Strategy Analyst to partner with lines of business and RCA teams to implement and oversee risk management frameworks.

You will lead testing across Lending Services and translate results into actionable strategy enhancements for Consumer, Mortgage, and Commercial portfolios. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with AI-enabled analytics, and proficiency in SQL or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Eight+ years of applicable experience preferred.
• Experience with data-driven decision making and risk analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Champion/Challenger testing across Lending Services lines (Consumer, Mortgage, Commercial).
• Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends and risks, and propose strategy improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance and business units to support forecasting, goal setting, and reporting.
• Explore AI capabilities to enhance analysis, testing, and insights.
