U.S. Bank seeks an AI and Emerging Technologies Risk Manager to coordinate AI use case intake, governance, and oversight. You will provide guidance to partners, coordinate risk governance, and ensure proper documentation across the AI lifecycle.

The role collaborates with Enterprise Risk Management, Law, Compliance, and IT risk teams to identify, assess, and remediate AI-related risks, while retaining line accountability for execution and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience.
• Advanced knowledge of laws, regulations, and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of coordination for AI use case intake, governance, and oversight.
• Provide consultative guidance to business partners and coordinate with risk and control partners.
• Ensure emerging AI technology risks are identified, assessed, documented, monitored, and escalated.
• Lead governance activities and evidence management across the AI lifecycle.
• Drive policy execution, registry records, monitoring plans, and testing evidence.
• Identify governance gaps and drive remediation to maintain compliance.
• Influence senior stakeholders with executive-ready risk communications.
