Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Sr. Portfolio Manager (Associate Director) to support the Project Finance & Infrastructure team. You will underwrite credit transactions, build financial models, and manage the portfolio across power, renewables, midstream, and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting, credit, or portfolio management in Project Finance.
• Strong knowledge of finance and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of US power and energy markets and regulatory environment.
• Ability to analyze credits independently and present findings concisely.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite credit transactions for the assigned portfolio and new clients.
• Recommend capital structure and monitor portfolio data for approvals and amendments.
• Review financial statements, cash flow models, and project data for credit decisions.
• Prepare underwriting analyses highlighting industry trends and risks.
• Ensure credit decisions reflect strong asset quality and favorable risk/return.
• Suggest prudent use of capital while safeguarding profitability.
• Obtain and negotiate documentation (credit agreements, notes, collateral).
• Contribute to deal teams with loan origination and syndication.
• Support Relationship Managers with marketing presentations and client pitches.
• Identify problem accounts and help improve bank position.
• Mentor junior professionals.
