Job summary

Salem Podcast Network, a division of Salem Media Group, is seeking a high-energy Senior Podcast Sales Executive to drive new business and grow revenue across our national podcast network. You’ll open doors, close deals, and build long-term advertiser partnerships with national brands and agencies.

You’ll sell premium podcast inventory (host endorsements and DAI), craft integrated campaigns across Salem’s One World platform, and leverage existing relationships to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in national audio, podcast, or digital media sales.
• Established national advertiser and/or agency relationships.
• Deep understanding of podcast ad formats: host endorsements, DAI, branded content.
• Strategic, consultative seller who builds integrated campaigns.
• Exceptional presentation skills with strong pipeline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop new revenue by prospecting and opening doors with national brands, agencies, DTCs, and organizations aligned with Salem’s audience.
• Sell premium podcast inventory (host endorsements and DAI) with integrated campaigns across Salem’s One World platform.
• Leverage existing client and agency relationships to convert them into revenue.
• Navigate host endorsement processes, category exclusivity, and talent approvals.
• Create insight-led proposals translating data into measurable advertiser impact.
• Exceed revenue targets monthly and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
