Job summary

General Tool Company in Reading, OH seeks a Director, PMO to lead day-to-day execution across the program and project portfolio. You will coach Program/Project Managers, manage schedules and forecasts, and drive disciplined performance with cross-functional alignment.

You’ll implement PMO processes, deliver portfolio reporting to the VP of PMO, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to protect commitments and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive experience in program/project management, manufacturing, or related roles.
• Experience managing multiple programs and cross-functional execution teams.
• Experience with DoD contract manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries is preferred.
• Strong hands-on execution: scheduling, critical path, financial tracking, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution management of the program portfolio with accountability for schedules, forecasts, and customer commitments.
• Coach and develop Program/Project Managers to establish performance expectations.
• Implement and improve PMO processes, tools, and metrics to strengthen execution predictability.
