Job summary

Dayton Parts Driven By Dorman is seeking a Director, PMO – Heavy Duty to lead portfolio governance and cross-functional execution across Product, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Sales, and HR. The role ensures initiatives are properly scoped, resourced, delivered on time, and linked to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth and cost savings, with executive visibility and accountability.

This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or operations leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Prior PMO leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, or industrial environments preferred.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Heavy Duty PMO with governance and delivery standards.
• Oversee portfolio of HD initiatives across functions.
• Monitor project health and escalate issues with solutions.
• Deliver defined business outcomes (revenue growth, margin improvement, cost savings).
• Coordinate with executive steering committees and drive alignment across stakeholders.
