Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an experienced leader to manage a portfolio of major campus construction programs, including laboratories, cleanrooms, and critical infrastructure.

You will provide executive-level direction, ensure commissioning and operational readiness, and partner with sponsors, operations, and regional leadership. The role requires extensive experience in multi-site capital projects, contract administration, and reporting to executives, with a clear focus on risk mitigation,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Project or Program Management experience on large-scale capital construction projects (min. $10M per project).
• Experience delivering multi-site construction programs including mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project accounting, portfolio management, and construction controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for a portfolio of major construction programs across campus facilities.
• Serve as SME for complex programs with commissioning, QA, and operational readiness.
• Set strategic direction and governance for campus project portfolio with stakeholders.
• Lead the campus PMO, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and governance processes.
• Mitigate risks impacting schedules, budgets, quality, or safety; drive issues to resolution.
