Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Project Manager for HVAC to lead on-site controls projects from planning through commissioning and closeout, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to deliver complete systems on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes strong technical quality, clear communication, and disciplined financial control, with responsibilities including scheduling, procurement, safety, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Four-year field experience with HVAC or Building Automation OR six years of related field experience.
• Hands-on experience in digital HVAC or Building Automation controls.
• Solid understanding of control theory in HVAC/Building Automation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and communicate with customers.

Responsabilités

• Lead HVAC controls projects through design, programming, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, installers, technicians, designers, and staff.
• Manage project financial performance including costs, billings, and cash flow.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and develop long-term relationships.
• Review scope, directives, and schedule changes; pursue change orders when needed.
• Oversee procurement activities and delivery schedules.
• Ensure system functionality and proper commissioning.
• Prepare as-built records, manuals, and warranty docs.
• Provide site training for owners/operators.
