Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned leader to manage a portfolio of major construction programs across a campus, including mission-critical facilities and data centers. You will guide strategic direction, governance, and project controls to meet business objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of experience in large-scale capital projects, strong executive communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of Project/Program Management experience, including large-scale capital construction projects (min. $10M).
• Experience delivering complex multi-site construction programs in mission-critical environments.
• Strong contract administration, project accounting, portfolio management, and controls knowledge.
• Exceptional executive communication with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams of Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Operations.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office, including executive dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for a portfolio of major construction programs across a campus.
• Serve as SME for complex programs with commissioning, QA, operational readiness, and critical systems deployment.
• Set strategic direction and governance for campus project portfolio with key stakeholders.
• Lead the campus PMO, ensure contract compliance, reporting standards, and governance.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks; drive issues to resolution with executive visibility.
• Oversee portfolio risk management, directing recovery and remediation plans.
