Qualifications

• 7+ years in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or solutions marketing at a B2B SaaS company.
• Owned competitive strategy end-to-end — not just battle cards, but how a company positions itself against a moving market.
• Translated win/loss, customer interviews, and market signals into strategy that changed field sales and product.
• Created content that the field actually uses and measured its impact.
• Operated where product ships faster than messaging, maintaining quality at pace.

Responsibilities

• Establish Fin's competitive function from the ground up — intelligence, messaging, and plays.
• Define our competitive differentiation messaging against tier 1 competitors and land it in campaigns and field conversations.
• Stand up a sustainable, AI-driven competitive intelligence program with cross-functional teams.
• Operationalise competitive strategy so the field can act on it: battle cards, plays, and objection handling.
• Synthesize win/loss data, customer interviews, and market signals into strategic recommendations for product, marketing and ICP decisions.
• Co-build the proactive compete motion — sales plays and campaigns to drive win rates.
• Extend into sales plays and field enablement as the function matures.
• Create high-quality core PMM assets and maintain the competitive 'brain' of context for our AI-first approach.
