Job summary

Roblox Corporation in San Mateo, CA seeks a Senior/Principal Product Manager for Video Generation to bring the Roblox Video Model from lab to creator early access and eventually to a scalable platform feature. You will own strategy, prioritization, and cross‑functional delivery, coordinating with engineering, safety, and economy teams to ensure safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping or supporting generative media products (video, image, or world models) or real-time rendering at scale.
• Fluency in turning model capabilities into product signals and research priorities.
• Strong understanding of quality, latency, inference cost and compute tradeoffs.
• History of collaborating with engineering and other stakeholders to deliver complex technical products on time.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and strategy for real-time video generation for creators and players.
• Own the launch to the community from lab demo to creator early access to scaled platform capability.
• Design the creator control surface to ensure game rules and art direction stay intact.
• Understand model capabilities required (temporal coherence, multiplayer consistency, avatar fidelity) and shape the roadmap.
• Develop evaluation methods combining automated metrics and user feedback; own quality, latency and cost curves.
• Collaborate across engine, rendering, safety, and economy teams to ensure safe, age-appropriate generated pixels as part of gameplay.
• Lead product lifecycle from vision to implementation with creators and researchers.
