Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a program team focused on advanced manufacturing of missile systems and test platform components. The role includes customer liaison, program execution across technical, schedule, and budget boundaries, and active involvement in proposals for growth.

You will collaborate with division leaders to optimize staffing, budgets, and risk management, while delivering results in a dynamic defense environment with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoD clearance at the SECRET level or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with a BA or 13+ years with a Masters for programs >$30M.
• Experience leading programs involving flight vehicles or missiles development.

Responsibilities

• Lead program team overseeing advanced manufacturing of missile systems and test platforms.
• Plan, track, and execute complex tasks within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Serve as primary customer interface and manage customer relationships.
• Contribute to proposals for follow-on business and contract growth.
• Develop staffing plans and budgets to enable program execution.
• Generate regular internal reports (Monthly/Weekly) and oversee risk mitigation.
