Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM) to support our Hypersonics Portfolio within the Defense Sector. You will shape manufacturing strategy and lead cross-site integration across multiple sites and programs in Huntsville, AL.

The role entails managing budgets, schedules, and performance using EVMS, and coordinating with Manufacturing leadership to deliver critical national defense programs. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.
Experience managing complex projects involving baselining, budgeting, scheduling, and performance reporting.
Demonstrated CAM experience on complex hardware production programs.
Experience coordinating activities between Program organizations and executing groups such as Manufacturing.
Proficiency in EVMS and earned value performance reporting.
Experience collaborating across geographically dispersed sites or functional groups.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Residency in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville/North Alabama area; ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main connection between Hypersonics Program leadership and Manufacturing.
Perform as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for manufacturing and test scope; develop and maintain manufacturing plans.
Coordinate budgets with Program and Manufacturing finance teams; monitor cost, schedule and performance.
Maintain cross-site reviews; provide clear manufacturing and testing updates to Program leadership; ensure transparent communication.
