Leidos is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to lead studies related to the TPS prototype program within the Strategic Hypersonics Division. You will assist the Program Manager with planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasks under schedule and budget constraints, coordinating with government and national labs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of project leadership, strong communication skills, and experience with high-temperature materials, testing, and earned value

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 8–12 years of experience leading projects.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • 2 years of experience in managing testing, planning, and scheduling in support of complex technical programs.
  • Strong verbal and written skills; knowledge of high-temperature materials, composites, testing, and characterization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management functions for the TPS prototype program.
  • Plan, track, and execute complex tasks within technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with multiple government organizations, national labs, and contractors.
  • Manage a large, diverse team including industry, government, and labs.
