Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Hypersonics Program Manager to lead a team that develops and produces hypersonic systems, managing profit and loss, growth, technical execution, staffing, and programmatic performance.

You will develop proposals, negotiate with customers, and plan, track, and execute complex tasks within schedule and budget constraints, coordinating with engineers, manufacturing SMEs, and subcontractors to deliver on commitments.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Engineering or Business (with technical focus) or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with Flight and Missile Systems is required.

Responsibilities

• A strong technical background in weapon systems and 5+ years of experience in managing testing, planning, and scheduling.
• Evaluate and guide daily execution activities
• Lead IPT meetings and set expectations for project team
• Routinely evaluate program technical and programmatic metrics to ensure successful execution
• Manage risk and identify opportunities at the IPT level including mitigation strategies
