Job summary

Lease Crutcher Lewis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects in the Portland market. This role oversees projects from early sales and preconstruction through construction, closeout, and warranty, coordinating owners, design partners, and trades.

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing varied sectors (mixed-use, high-rise, civic, multifamily, senior living, office) and will mentor teams while representing Lewis with clients, ensuring safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10–15 years of construction industry experience preferred, with leadership on complex commercial projects.
• Experience delivering large, phased, occupied, urban, or logistically complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, including estimating and scheduling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction/project management technology.

Responsibilities

• Act as a leader in marketing and business development; build close client relationships.
• Lead pursuit strategy for commercial opportunities across multiple market sectors.
• Provide leadership for complex commercial construction projects across multiple sectors.
• Lead the bid/budget process and supervise bid day activities.
• Direct estimating and preconstruction; coordinate purchasing, operations, and logistics.
• Backbone of projects from preconstruction through closeout and warranty periods.
• Monitor cost, schedule, safety, quality, and project risks; coordinate reviews and audits.
• Deliver outcomes with strong client relationships and adherence to safety and quality.
• Review and approve owner changes and subcontract/supply drafts; manage schedules.
