Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support Minnesota/Wisconsin Medicaid Market initiatives and enterprise projects. You will oversee PMO-aligned efforts, coordinate internal and external audits, and drive project plans from initiation to completion.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, PMP credentials, and experience in regulated healthcare environments. Occasional office collaboration and minimal travel may be required; remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project management, business, operational or technical experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 1+ year leading PMO standards and PM maturity initiatives.
• 8+ years of project management, business, operational, or technical experience.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise or market initiatives.
• Healthcare, managed care or regulated environment experience.
• Mentoring other project managers or contributing to PMO standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing projects; monitors progress and resolves delays.
• Identify, develop, and gather resources to complete the project.
• Prepare work specifications and develop project schedules with staff and external contractors.
• Communicate with other operational areas to secure specialized resources.
• Conduct meetings and prepare reports on project status.
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate staff to meet milestones.
• Identify audit requirements, gather data, and submit requirements to meet audit timelines.
• Understand contractual requirements and collaborate to support audit requirements.
