Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA support for plumbing systems on federal construction projects. The role involves reviewing installations, ensuring compliance with IPC and UFC, and coordinating with project teams and government representatives.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid plumbing license, and at least 10 years of experience in plumbing installation, inspection, and construction oversight.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specs, shop drawings, and technical docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems across construction phases.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Attend meetings with project teams and government representatives.
• Review submittals and provide constructive comments.
• Respond to RFIs and assist with field changes.
• Schedule final acceptance tests for installed plumbing systems.
