Accura Engineering is seeking a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA for plumbing systems on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, Texas. The role ensures compliance with IPC, UFC, and contract requirements throughout design, installation, testing, and commissioning processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; plumbing license required.
• Experience with IPC/UFC and federal standards a must.
• Minimum of 10 years of plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, shop drawings, and technical docs.
• Ability to obtain access to military installations and pass background/drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Oversee plumbing system installations and quality assurance on federal construction projects.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Review submittals and RFIs; provide actionable comments and corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports on plumbing features and recommended changes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
