Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and quality assurance for plumbing systems on federal construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing installations for IPC/UFC compliance, conducting inspections, testing, and commissioning on Fort Hood projects.

The role requires a valid plumbing license, 10+ years of plumbing experience, and ability to obtain security clearances. Competitive salary discussed in interview with manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical plumbing training preferred.
• Valid Plumbing License required.
• Ten years of plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight experience.
• Knowledge of IPC/UFC and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specs, shop drawings, and technical docs.
• Federal/DoD project experience preferred; healthcare/large facilities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing systems for compliance with IPC, UFC, and contract requirements.
• Inspect installations and conduct testing and commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• Attend meetings to discuss work features and ensure project success.
• Respond to RFIs and review scopes of work for field changes.
