Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Plumber Technician to oversee plumbing systems on federal construction projects. You will review installations, assess compliance with IPC/UFC, and perform inspections and testing to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, guiding field practices, and conducting final acceptance tests. A high school diploma with a plumbing license and 10 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; plumbing training is preferred.
• Valid plumbing license is required.
• Minimum ten years in plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing plans, specs, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Inspect, test, and commission plumbing systems on federal projects.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and actionable recommendations.
• Provide guidance to improve work practices and facility design.
• Conduct final acceptance tests and respond to RFIs and field changes.
• Attend meetings with PMs, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
