Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid plumbing license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing installation, inspection, testing, or construction oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specs, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience with federal, DoD, USACE, or military construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of International Plumbing Code and UFC requirements.
• Attend meetings to ensure project success at all levels.
• Perform reviews with teammates applying lessons learned from experience.
• Schedule and conduct inspections of plumbing systems across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with approved documentation on all projects.
• Evaluate work practices to ensure adherence to plumbing codes and contract requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Provide guidance to improve work practices, facility design, and plumbing features.
• Schedule and perform final acceptance tests of plumbing systems.
• Review submittals to ensure proper documentation of planned installation.
• Evaluate RFIs and review scopes for field changes.
