Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Plumber Technician to provide oversight, inspection, and QA for plumbing systems on federal construction projects. The role reviews installations for IPC/UFC compliance, conducts inspections, and offers technical recommendations throughout construction, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and government representatives.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid plumbing license, 10+ years of experience, and OSHA training; must pass

Qualifications

• Requires a valid plumbing license.
• 10+ years in plumbing installation/inspection.
• Experience with IPC, UFC, and DoD projects.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for code compliance.
• Perform inspections, testing, and acceptance activities.
• Attend project meetings with PMs, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare technical reports and corrective actions.
• Review RFIs and submittals with comments.
• Coordinate final acceptance tests.
