Job summary

Accura Engineering at Fort Hood, Texas seeks a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA for plumbing systems on federal construction projects. You will review installations, evaluate compliance with IPC and UFC, conduct inspections and testing, and deliver technical recommendations throughout construction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a plumbing license, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain access to military installations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in plumbing preferred.
• Valid Plumbing License required.
• OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of IPC and UFC requirements.
• Attend meetings to discuss project features and ensure success.
• Perform inspections, testing, and plan reviews with teammates.
• Schedule and conduct plumbing inspections across pre-, during, and post-construction phases.
• Review submittals and provide comments to ensure proper documentation.
• Evaluate field changes and RFIs; support changes as needed.
