Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Plumber Technician to oversee plumbing on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX. You will review installations, ensure code compliance, perform inspections, and provide technical recommendations throughout construction.

Responsibilities include testing, reporting, and coordinating with project teams to meet UFC/IPC standards. Requires a plumbing license, 10+ years experience, and the ability to access military sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing training preferred.
• Valid Plumbing License required.
• Minimum 10 years in plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience with federal/DoD projects preferred.
• Ability to obtain access to military installations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review IPC, UFC, and contract requirements for plumbing on DoD projects.
• Attend meetings to discuss work features and project success.
• Conduct inspections and testing of plumbing systems across sites.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on work practices, design and construction features.
• Coordinate with PMs, engineers, contractors, and government reps.
• Schedule and perform final acceptance tests for plumbing systems.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs and field changes.
