Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a senior Control Technician to maintain and improve plant automation systems in our Dallas facility. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, vision systems, and control networks to ensure continuous production and reliability.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Wonderware platforms; you will train teammates, support new installations, and drive improvements while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

Apprenticeship or experience in related field; Associates preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required.
10+ years in maintenance related field.
Must achieve required certifications and operate lifts/equipment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair PLC/HMI/VFD/Servo and vision systems without assistance.
Calibrate and replace sensors and instrumentation (temperature, pressure, I/P, etc.).
Program, troubleshoot, and repair ink coders and related systems.
Coordinate with Field Service techs to learn and train on new control systems.
Follow Change Management to implement improvements in control schemes.
Document actions and maintain control-related documentation (P&IDs, electrical drawings, OSH and GMP compliance).
Utilize MVP CMMS for PMs, work orders, and reporting.
