Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Control Technician to maintain and improve plant automation, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos and vision systems. You will help train staff, support new installations, and drive reliability across processing, filling and packaging lines.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a food/bev manufacturing environment and a commitment to safety and best practices.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or related field experience; associates preferred; high school diploma required.
• 10+ years in maintenance related field.
• Certification to operate lifts and other required equipment.
• Five years applied industrial controls experience with major platforms.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo motors and vision systems.
• Calibrate sensors (temperature, pressure, I/P) and diagnose electrical/control faults.
• Document actions, deviations and repairs for permanent records.
• Coach and train Maintenance/Ops staff on electrical/mechanical best practices.
• Support continuous improvements, Change Management and plant reliability efforts.
