Job summary

Dauch in the United States seeks a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated manufacturing equipment, focusing on electrical and controls systems while also supporting mechanical and hydraulic work as needed on the shop floor.

You will diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, sensors, and VFDs, read electrical schematics and ladder logic, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance per schedules to keep production safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial electrical and controls troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls.
• Ability to read electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics.
• Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and repair of electrical, controls, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and controls.
• Read schematics and ladder logic to diagnose faults and return equipment to service.
