Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Account Executive (New Business) to manage and grow a named account list across the East territory. You will drive partnerships with top software platforms, champion Stripe Connect, and own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to close.

You will engage with C-level executives, translate complex product value, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to shape solutions. Prior experience selling technical products and managing enterprise deals is essential.

Qualifications

• Locations: New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Chicago, IL.
• 10+ years of sales experience with a track record of top performance.
• Experience selling a technology product or service, preferably API-first.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-party sales from inception to close.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and nurture a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with upper-middle-market and enterprise companies.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, orchestrating key executive touchpoints.
• Contribute to shaping platform partnership strategy and scalable engagement models.
• Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper-mid-market and enterprise companies.
• Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Finance to run product workshops and analyses.
• Lead and contribute to team projects to refine our sales process.
• Engage with Product and Engineering to influence product strategy.
