Job summary

IDEXX in Maine is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Platform AWS team, overseeing cloud infrastructure, security, and platform engineering to enable secure, scalable operations.

You will mentor DevOps engineers, own the cloud automation roadmap, drive security practices, CI/CD maturity, and partner with product and IT leadership to align investments with priorities. Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps/infrastructure/platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC proficiency.
• Demonstrated security practices integrated into pipelines and infra lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a DevOps team, setting priorities and coaching growth.
• Own roadmap for cloud automation, infrastructure, and platform tooling.
• Drive security, access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Advance CI/CD maturity and AI-enabled workflow enhancements.
• Evaluate new tools to improve scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.
• Manage incident response and root-cause analysis initiatives.
• Align infra investments with business and product priorities.
• Oversee vendor management and cloud cost optimization.
