Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Manager for the Platform AWS team to lead cloud infrastructure, security, and platform engineering efforts. The role partners with product engineering and IT leadership to advance platform capabilities and ensure reliable, secure operations.

You will manage a DevOps team, own the cloud automation roadmap, and drive security practices while maturing CI/CD and AI-enabled deployment workflows. Hybrid on-site arrangements near multiple US locations are possible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• 7+ years in people management
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Infrastructure as code and container orchestration
• Security integrated into CI/CD and infra lifecycles
• Observability tooling experience
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a DevOps team, setting priorities and coaching for growth
• Own the roadmap for cloud automation, infrastructure, and tooling
• Drive infrastructure security practices with security leaders
• Advance DevOps maturity with AI-enhanced workflows for deployments
• Evaluate and adopt tools to improve scalability and cost efficiency
• Manage incident response and post-incident root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with engineering and IT to align infra investments with priorities
• Oversee vendor and cloud cost management
