IDEXX is seeking a Senior Manager of DevOps to lead engineers supporting veterinary and diagnostic software platforms, ensuring reliable, scalable cloud operations and secure infrastructure. You will collaborate with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to advance platform capabilities and support customer-facing products.

Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, software operations, or platform engineering with leadership experience.
- Experience managing DevOps engineers for commercial software or SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on cloud experience, especially AWS, plus IaC, CI/CD, observability, and container/serverless models.
- Security, compliance, and operational resilience integrated into lifecycle management and pipelines.
- Observability tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch for monitoring and performance.
- Proven track record of scaling and developing a DevOps team including hiring and coaching.
- Experience leading production incidents and conducting root-cause analysis.
- Excellent communication translating strategy and risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers aligned to IDEXX’s software product areas.
- Partner with product engineering to align DevOps support with roadmaps and priorities.
- Drive infrastructure security practices and compliance with security leaders.
- Advance automation and AI-enabled workflows to speed deployments and productivity.
- Evaluate tools and platform improvements for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Manage incident response and continuous improvement across platforms.
- Own cloud cost management and secure use of resources.
