Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Platform AWS (PAWS) team, overseeing cloud infrastructure, security, and platform engineering across AWS, GitHub, Terraform Cloud, JFrog, and related tooling. You will partner with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to drive scalable, secure operations and高-performing DevOps capabilities.

You will manage a DevOps team, drive the cloud automation roadmap, implement security controls, and mature CI/CD pipelines while focusing on cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers, setting priorities, coaching for growth, and ensuring continuous technology operations.
• Own the roadmap for cloud automation, cloud infrastructure, platform tooling available to the organization.
• Drive infrastructure security practices, including access controls, vulnerability management, and compliance, in partnership with the security and business leaders.
• Advance the DevOps team’s maturity of AI in workflow that increases deployment speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and platform advancements that improve scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.
• Manage incident response processes and drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement plans.
• Partner with engineering and IT leadership to align infrastructure investments with business and product priorities.
• Own vendor and cloud cost management, ensuring efficient and secure use of cloud resources.
