Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to manage its internal developer platforms, ensuring scalable, innovative solutions. This role involves hands-on leadership in architecture and design across AWS, GitHub, Terraform, and JFrog, alongside mentoring engineers. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure software engineering.
• Subject matter expertise in CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Fluency in Python and strong GitHub Enterprise administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and architecture of platform capabilities across AWS, GitHub, Terraform Cloud, and JFrog.
• Mentor and coach Senior and mid-level engineers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to influence work prioritization.
