Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Senior Manager for the Platform AWS team to lead cloud infrastructure, security, and platform engineering, partnering with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable operations.

You will manage DevOps engineers, own the roadmap for cloud automation, advance security practices, drive incident response, and optimize cost and resilience while aligning investments with business priorities.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
7+ years in a people management role.
Experience embedding security into infrastructure lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong observability experience with monitoring and performance tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers, setting priorities and coaching for growth.
Own the roadmap for cloud automation and cloud infrastructure.
Drive infrastructure security practices in partnership with security and leadership.
Advance the DevOps team’s maturity of AI in deployment workflows.
Evaluate and introduce new tools and platform improvements for scalability and cost efficiency.
Manage incident response processes and lead root-cause analysis.
