Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Platform Engineering and DevOps for enterprise-scale cloud services. You will own delivery across multiple workstreams, drive GCP-based platform capabilities, and enforce standards for security, reliability, and scalability.

You will guide teams, translate business needs into engineering roadmaps, and influence stakeholders while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 4+ years in team leadership or technical lead roles guiding mid-sized teams.
• 3+ years with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, IAM, networking.
• CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows experience.
• 4+ years Agile/Scrum delivery and incident management.
• 3+ years designing cloud networking (VPCs, routing, firewalls, etc.).
• 1+ year AI-driven operations or automation familiarity.
• 3+ years with SQL/Oracle/MongoDB/Cassandra/Cloud Spanner/Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the H100 platform engineering roadmap aligned to priorities.
• Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, IAM, networking, CI/CD, observability).
• Enforce engineering standards, ADRs, and security/compliance controls.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with security, networking, and apps teams.
• Mentor engineers, manage delivery across multiple workstreams, report status.
