Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering / DevOps to lead a team delivering enterprise-scale cloud platforms. You will own the H100 platform roadmap, drive GCP-based capabilities, enforce standards, and ensure security and governance across multiple workstreams.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with security, networking, and applications teams, and champion GitOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices to improve reliability and velocity in a regulated healthcare

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 4+ years of experience in team leadership, management, or technical lead roles, leading mid-sized teams (5 to 10 engineers).
• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including GKE, IAM, networking.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container-based systems.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the H100 platform engineering roadmap, aligned to enterprise priorities and milestones.
• Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, networking, IAM, CI/CD, observability).
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and ADR compliance.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance requirements (SOC2, HIPAA).
• Lead incident response and escalation management, including post-mortems.
• Lead a team of engineers (FTEs + contractors) and mentor staff.
