Job summary
CVS Health Corporation in the United States seeks a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering/DevOps to lead enterprise cloud platform initiatives and drive DevOps maturity across multiple workstreams. This role combines hands-on engineering leadership with strategic delivery across teams.
You will own roadmaps, mentor engineers, and partner with security, networking, and applications teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable platform operations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE.
- 4+ years leading mid-sized teams (5–10 engineers).
- Strong foundation in GCP, Kubernetes and cloud networking.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, KCC, Kustomize).
- Agile/Scrum delivery and on-call production support.
- Experience with AI-driven ops or automation frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the H100 platform engineering roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, IAM, CI/CD, observability).
- Establish engineering standards, ADRs, security and governance.
- Partner with security, networking, applications, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead incident response, runbooks, and production readiness models.
- Mentor engineers and oversee contractor teams.
