Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Comfortable with a polyglot codebase (Java, Node.js/TypeScript, Python, SQL).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems: APIs, event-driven patterns, asynchronous processing and failure handling.
• Hands-on observability: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Experience operating services on cloud infra (Azure or equivalent) with containers/Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Maintenance mindset: focus on operational health and clean, well-documented code.
• Clear communicator able to explain complex systems to engineers and non-engineers alike.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Stack Maintenance across the full platform and integration of components.
• Reliability engineering: monitor health, investigate issues, resolve bottlenecks and scaling constraints.
• Design and ship focused features and enhancements for platform components.
• Extend observability through logging, metrics, tracing and alerting for production visibility.
• Profile and tune components under load to scale with growth in users and data.
• Write tests, review code, and uphold engineering standards for production readiness.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and durable fixes.
• Collaborate with delivery pods and Decision Intelligence to own new components long-term.
