Job summary

Michigan Health and Hospital Association Service Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer tooling efforts. You will build scalable platforms, automate pipelines, and support AI-enabled development workflows across AWS/Azure environments in a remote US role.

The role emphasizes collaboration, golden-path templates, and ensuring secure, observable platforms while accelerating engineering velocity in a fast-paced, regulated industry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure in production environments.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tooling (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure automation with Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Design and provision cloud resources on AWS/Azure (compute, networking, storage).
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container workloads using Docker and Helm.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, agent pools).
• Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux and maintain reusable templates.
• Develop self-service tooling and standard templates to accelerate engineering teams.
