Job summary

BSC Analytics is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a remote-first team delivering cloud-native platform solutions for regulated enterprises. You will design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS and Azure, and build CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and modern IaC tooling.

This role values learning, autonomy, and collaboration in a small squad, with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor teammates, and drive scalable, reliable services across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform/DevOps/infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years AWS experience.
• 3+ years with Terraform or other IaC tooling.
• 2+ years Kubernetes production experience.
• Azure experience.
• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy workloads to cloud.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, build, and support robust platform solutions.
• Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS and/or Azure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines delivering high-quality code quickly.
• Build automated infrastructure with Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts for legacy workloads to modern cloud-native services.
• Automate scaling, deployment, and management of containerized apps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune system performance for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement proactive monitoring to detect outages.
• Translate client requirements into scalable automated solutions.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing, runbooks, and process improvements.
