eHealth is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to design and scale cloud‑native internal developer platforms with AI/ML integration. You will champion automation, self‑service tooling, and reliable CI/CD pipelines that empower engineering teams to deploy securely and at scale.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in platform engineering, deep AWS expertise, and a track record of building IDPs with automation and governance in mind. Remote collaboration with teams across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of platform engineering, cloud architecture, with 7+ years on AWS.
• Proven track record building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) with automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale a self‑service Internal Developer Platform with AI/ML workflows.
• Create ChatOps interfaces and self‑service tooling for provisioning and deploying infra.
• Define standardized services, templates, and APIs for cloud‑based app development.
• Lead platform security, cost optimization, and governance across AWS accounts.
