Job summary

Kindred is seeking a world-class Platform Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will own AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling that powers our scalable backend.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and data teams to enable rapid product development while upholding reliability and security. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in platform engineering or DevOps, strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience.
• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong coding skills (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) and building internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as infrastructure lead and own cloud architecture decisions.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure for growth.
• Develop internal tooling, automation, and backend services to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to support current and future needs.
• Mentor engineers on cloud architecture, observability, and reliability.
