Job summary

SmarterDx is hiring a remote Senior Platform Engineer to own the AWS and Kubernetes foundation, design Terraform modules and Helm interfaces, and collaborate with product engineering and security to enhance the platform.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, support Node.js, React, and Next.js apps, and enable AI-powered tooling; requires full-lifecycle development in Python, Go, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Full-lifecycle development and debugging experience in Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript environment.
• Proven experience in web based software development.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure at scale on AWS and Kubernetes foundations; simplify usage and enable rapid development.
• Design Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions workflows for platform operations.
• Develop applications in Go or Python to enhance platform capabilities.
• Implement actionable monitoring and runbooks for a stable environment.
• Collaborate with security and product teams on CI/CD pipelines to protect the software supply chain.
• Provide runtimes, build pipelines, and deployment patterns for Node.js, React, and Next.js apps.
